When developing new packaging, it is often helpful to have a physical sample to evaluate, except when it is not necessary. Using 3D drawings to simulate is usually helpful, but does not provide the tactile experience and the possibility to see the physical product from all angles. Today, 3D printing can help. It is an ideal prototyping method without the need to produce a real blow mold. To obtain a physical sample, all you need is a digital design file (STL), a 3D printer and printing materials.

Once the project is set up, the actual proofing process takes only a few hours. We have been offering our customers the opportunity to 3D proof as part of our bottle design service for many years. We can currently produce clear samples that can be coloured, filled, capped and labelled like the real jar.
